Skewered Bacon Wrapped Mussels

Ingredients

skewers
2 lbs of Cultured Blue Mussels
1 lb of Bacon (Slice each piece in half)


Glaze for Mussels:
4 tbsp. Honey
1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
2 Cloves Chopped Garlic
1 tbsp Minced Ginger

Directions

 

1. Steam Mussels in ¼ cup of water or white wine until shells open (about 10 min)
2. remove cooled meats from shells
3. wrap each mussel meat in a ½ slice of bacon and place on skewer (about 5 per skewer)
4. Brush each skewer with glaze
5. Grill until bacon is crisp and cooked
**Tip Soak skewers in water for about ½ hour before using so that they don’t burn
